Fresh off home from his prison sentence Rootabang (born Tavio Jack) wasted little time getting back to his musical passion. Prior to his incarceration, he was quickly emerging as a young artist to watch from Cleveland, OH. While music was his first love it came second to providing for himself. His song "Wah" was released to YouTube in 2012, and shot out the gate to over 50k views before being jailed for 2 yrs.

"When I put out my first song I was young and hustling... I didn't give it much thought. We just put it out and it still did numbers. That let me know when I touched back down focused what it could be."

On release, Rootabang quickly reconnected with long time friend and hit-maker Preme Dibiasi to create. The Drumgod produced, "Get The Money", is Rootabang's first release from his newly minted FNO Ent. (Fly N*ggas Only) quickly made its way through the streets. His follow-up “Money Long” has become a viral hit throughout the Midwest. Partnering with Born Leaders Music Group, Rootabang is preparing to release an onslaught of new music and visuals that will undoubtedly thrust him back on the national music radar with a vengeance.
